libemail-send-perl software package provides Perl module for simply sending email (deprecated), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libemail-send-perl
libemail-send-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libemail-send-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libemail-send-perl *
You will get with libemail-send-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
